1975 A Course in Miracles made
its public debut in America, where it was so
enthusiastically received by thousands. English-speaking
foreign students also discovered it and began sharing
its teachings with fellow enthusiasts in their native
countries. To date, A Course in Miracles has been
officially translated in 17 language versions.

The
Foundation's translation program was established in
1982, and has evolved substantially. We
continually launch new language edition projects as
qualified translators become ready for the task.
Currently, the translations we have completed and cast
into production represent about 90 per cent of the
world's population |

Our
translators are all students of A Course in Miracles. We
learned early on that fully qualified translators must
be totally prepared for such a monumental task and
willing to commit to it for at least the next five
years. |

In
1995, the Foundation for Inner Peace realized an
ever increasing need for language translation
funding. Foundation supporters and students of the
Course from around the World helped make this happen. |
